In the U.S., one student drops out of school every 12 seconds.
That's a lot of students so far this school year.

The Met Sacramento was founded in 2003 and continues to shine, not only for the Sacramento City Unified School District, but also in the eyes of the national Big Picture network. During the 2007-2008 school year the Met Sacramento has strengthened partnerships with Sacramento City College, Sacramento Theatre Company, the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Council and the Sol Collective Arts Academy. While offering a truly “one student at a time” innovative college prep experience, the Met Sacramento now also boasts poetry workshops as well as visual and performing arts opportunities.

The supportive family environment at the school can be seen in their remarkably low turnover rate. No advisors (teachers) have left, only two students have transferred away in the last two years and the school has a consistent waiting list of students.
