New view on learning

Big Picture Australia’s City Campus school and its real world learning was the feature article in the Examiner!

“TEAGAN McKenzie- Pears and Launceston General Hospital clinical services director Peter Renshaw may look like an odd team. But the Beauty Point teenager has helped to create a new survey that will improve the way the hospital seeks informed consent from patients. The project is the result of a Learning through Internships program at the City Campus, based at Inveresk in Launceston. Situated in a light-filled, open- plan mezzanine at Inveresk, City Campus looks more like an office for a new media start-up than a classroom. The campus is in its second year of operation for students in years 9 to 12 and changing the way students – and educators – think about learning.”
