VISIT A SCHOOL

We welcome you to visit a Big Picture Learning School in the 2017-18 School Year!

Big Picture Learning will be hosting visitors at its flagship campus – the Met High School and The Center
for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (E-Center) in Providence, RI.  We are also welcoming visitors at other exemplary schools across our network including: Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom HIgh School (Bronx)  El Centro de Estudiantes (Philadelphia), The Camden Big Picture Learning AcademyNashville Big Picture School, MetWest (Oakland), and New Village Girls Academy (Los Angeles).

Our school visit process is designed to (a) provide potential attendees with a number options during the school year to choose from; (b) minimize disruption for advisors and students and (c) offer opportunities to witness many of the features that distinguish Big Picture Learning network schools.

The logistics for site visits vary for each school and will be noted in your welcome packet in advance of your visit.

We ask visitors to make a $250/person donation in advance of the visit which affords our school-based staff and students valuable resources for opportunities like conferences, advisory trips, and professional development. There is an additional $100/person fee to visit the E-Center in Providence.

We request that you schedule at least one month in advance of the date of scheduled visit.  Please note that we cap attendance on any one day at 40 visitors.

We thank you for your interest in visiting a Big Picture Learning School and look forward to seeing you soon!
