As we have in years' past, Big Picture Learning is reaching out to generous supporters of student-centered learning to help bring students themselves to our International Conference on Student-Centered Learning
. However, as successful as we may be in convincing philanthropists of this important initiative, we know how difficult it will be to fund every student who wants to attend Big Bang. So we put out a challenge
to students across the network: (1) Convince us why we should sponsor your attendance at Big Bang and --perhaps more importantly -- (2) Don't wait around until we've made that decision! Take it upon yourselves to convince your local and extended communities why you think it's important to be at the center of the student-centered learning movement.
We applaud the below students who have taken us up on the challenge! And we encourage others to chip in to support their efforts. Please take a moment to meet these students, understand their interests, and support their efforts to attend Big Bang.
And to Big Picture students from across the network who haven't had the opportunity to kick off their own campaigns, we encourage you to do so! Let us know if you've started your own GoFundMe initiative and we'll be happy to host it here!
