Francie Heller is Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey and participates in the Financial Sponsors Group as head of the firm’s growing Pension Services practice. Previously, Ms. Heller was President of Heller Group, LLC, a consulting firm that advised investment management firms and pension plans. Prior to Heller Group, Ms. Heller served as Managing Director-Head of Pension Solutions at Chilton Investment Company where she focused on providing investment advice and support to chief investment officers and other leaders of large corporate and public pension plans.

Prior to Chilton Investment Company, Ms. Heller served as a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of the Pension, Endowment and Foundation Services Group at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. where she was responsible for building and fostering relationships and delivering a comprehensive array of products and services to this market.

Prior to Bear Stearns, Ms. Heller was President of MBIA Municipal Investors Service Corporation (MISC) where she created and ran all aspects of the government investment management business and had responsibility for marketing, sales, business/product development and client servicing for MBIA Asset Management, a $50 billion investment management division. Prior to that Ms. Heller was with Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. where she created investment products for state and local governments. Earlier in her career, Ms. Heller was an education director in New York Public Schools for 12 years.

Ms. Heller graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned a master’s equivalent degree from the University of Georgia. She holds certificates from Columbia University, Stanford University and Harvard University Executive Education Programs.

Ms. Heller currently serves on several boards including Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers, Big Picture Learning, The Westchester County Association and Furman University. In addition, Ms Heller is an advisor to the Government Finance Officers Association’s Committee on Retirement and Benefits Administration. She is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and a published author having written multiple articles on investment topics. She also serves as advisor to the Investment Committee of the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society.
