Lorne Adrain, author of The Most Important Thing I Know book series is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of Rhode Island. He leads a national estate planning, investments and executive benefits business in Providence, RI and is involved in numerous community and charitable endeavors.
Lorne is the Founder of National Neighborhood Day, Co-Founder of Social Venture Partners Rhode Island, Co-Founder of BetterProvidence.Org and currently serves as a Director of The Rhode Island Foundation, the Harvard Business School Alumni Association and the Business Innovation Factory. He has served as President of Rhode Island Special Olympics, President of the University of Rhode Island Alumni Association and is the recipient of the Northwestern Mutual Life award as “Most Exceptional Volunteer” in the USA, and the Rhode Island Foundation
Inspiring Partner” Award. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island with his wife, novelist Ann Hood, and has four children.
