Big Picture Online (BPO) is a web-based platform specifically designed to help Big Picture students, staff, mentors, and family members learn with and from each other. This custom built tool emphasizes sharing of resources, connecting learning teams, communicating and collaborating, and organizing internship opportunities. It works on the strengths of small school communities who personalize education using all of the resources at hand with the goal of student success.

Big Picture Online has tools for all of the participants in the Big Picture community: students, advisors, parents, principals, mentors, LTI Coordinators, and specialists including:

• An online portfolio with file upload
• Journal
• Learning Plan
• School, Personal and Network Calendars
• School, Advisory, and Network News
• Knowledge Exchange: a place to find and share pertinent materials
• Internship Manager
• Forums for threaded conversations

This secure online tool is currently available to all Big Picture Schools and Big Picture Inspired schools, and is currently available for licensing and customization for small schools across the country. Click here for more information.
