Native American Initiative

The Mission of the Big Picture Learning Native American Initiative is to support Tribal Sovereignty and Self-Determination by ensuring that every Native student has access to culture and language learning as an integral part of their school experience, as guaranteed in the treaties, and that all students benefit from the wide breadth of cultural knowledge and world views of Indigenous peoples​

 

We do this by providing coaching and support to school leaders, staff, and students to implement strategies that are culturally relevant and asset-based.
