Anthonette is the Director of B-Unbound, Big Picture Learning’s initiative that partners with informal, out of school and extended learning organizations to bring real world learning to communities. She is passionate about education equity - particularly for women and historically marginalized groups in STEM. Her experiences include teaching middle school science in south FL and Washington DC, managing a national program to expand Computer Science education for K-12, and directing informal STEM programs in San Diego. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence Science and an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow. She loves music, food and adventures.
