Gary is a passionate and innovative educator, school leader, and lifelong learner who believes deeply in the power of education and human connection to transform lives. Having experienced, firsthand, the impact that education, rooted in authentic relationships, can have on a life, Gary is committed to creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential—both inside and outside the classroom. Gary currently serves as a school leader at Nashville Big Picture High School and a school design coach with Big Picture Learning, where he works to reimagine education through personalized learning, authentic relationships, and real-world experiences.
